Kenoza Hall Nestled In The Catskills
We spent the holidays at Kenoza Hall, the newest property from Foster Supply Hospitality. Two hours from the city and we were upstate in the Catskills, deep into winter.

The hotel had guided meditation and custom hike trails, in snowshoes, along with a morning "Morgen Lauf" walk and the full Hemlock Spa: multiple treatment rooms, a movement studio, pool, hot tub, sauna. We ended up spending most of our time down by the water instead, just taking in Kenoza Lake from the shoreline.

Honestly, my favorite part of the whole stay was the food. The new lake-view restaurant leans into Old World Continental cooking, and it's open for breakfast and lunch too if you're staying there.
Worth mentioning: Foster Supply Hospitality also runs A Single Bite, a volunteer-run program that shifted from food education to feeding local families at risk of hunger once Covid hit. Since mid-March they've prepared and delivered more than 50,000 meals across Sullivan County.

Our last lunch was in the new Winter Catskills cabanas, exclusive to hotel guests, wood stove, cozy seating, books and board games, hand sanitizer, winter hiking gear if you want it.

We also stopped by Buck Brook Alpaca Farm. Alpacas might be the cutest animal alive, and every single one of them had its own personality.
We drove into town, though most stores and restaurants were closed for the season. We went through Callicoon and Livingston Manor, but I'm told Roscoe and Narrowsburg are worth the drive too.
