Superegg is built around three things that matter most in my life: eggs, beauty, and balance.
It comes from my Korean upbringing, where eggs were part of a beauty ritual. I grew up watching my grandmother and mother carefully apply different parts of the egg to their faces. The egg white, yolk, and shell membrane each carry their own vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, good for elasticity and deep hydration, and that's the foundation we built the formulas on, translated into a fully plant-based version. We took the egg's actual power and reimagined each part of it as vegan, keeping what each one does best. I wanted something gentle on skin, and gentle on the planet too.
Eggs, to me, symbolize birth, and every new day feels like a chance to reset and start again. My relationship to beauty is about building real inner strength while also empowering the people around me. Actually tuning into what your skin needs takes a certain kind of attention, and that's what I want Superegg to help people do, listen more closely to themselves. I believe healthy, balanced skin connects to a bigger sense of well-being overall. What motivates me most is kindness, and what happens when people work together toward something bigger than themselves.
Once we actually broke down the egg itself, white, yolk, shell membrane, it became clear each part had its own specific benefit for skin. That's what led us to build egg duplexes, where every product has a plant-based equivalent matched to one specific part of the egg.
Egg yolk contains lecithin, collagen, vitamins, amino acids, fatty acids, and minerals, hydrating and brightening the skin while protecting it with real antioxidants. Yolk Duplex™ (Egg Yolk Duplicated Complex) replicates those same nutrients using 25 high-grade vegan ingredients, including hydrogenated lecithin, vitamin E, and chicory root extract.
Egg white contains albumin, collagen, vitamins, amino acids, and minerals, firming, lifting, and balancing the skin. White Duplex™ (Egg White Duplicated Complex) replicates that with 21 high-grade vegan ingredients, including adenosine, tremella mushroom, and rice bran oil.
Eggshell membrane contains collagen, protein, elastin, amino acids, and minerals, rejuvenating, smoothing, and soothing the skin. Shell Duplex™ (Eggshell Membrane Duplicated Complex) replicates that with 21 high-grade vegan ingredients, including tripeptides, marine glycoprotein, and plant stem cells.
We launched with two hero products, masks came later in 2021.
Sound Renewal is a gel cream built on high-performing botanical extracts and antioxidants, it feels like a blanket of nutrients for your skin. It's lightweight, absorbs fast, and keeps skin looking radiant and supple. Panthenol (pro-vitamin B5) and squalane handle weightless hydration and moisture, PHA gently exfoliates for brighter, smoother skin, and the base is Helichrysum Italicum (Everlasting) flower water, which calms sensitized or irritated skin. And then there's our Yolk Duplex™, targeted at hydrating and strengthening skin specifically.
Gentle Elements is a foaming cream cleanser built on botanical extracts and antioxidants, it removes makeup, dirt, and excess oil while restoring skin's natural balance. It sits at a pH of 5.5, slightly acidic, which is actually the ideal pH for healthy skin. The cleansing agents themselves are gentle and non-stripping, melting away impurities without pulling moisture out with them. Moringa oil strengthens the skin barrier, vitamin C brightens, hyaluronic acid hydrates deeply, and AHA gently resurfaces. There are also micro-encapsulated beads, built from plant cellulose, sugars, clays, amino acids, and vitamin C, that dissolve on contact with skin. And it contains White Duplex™, which smooths and firms.
