Maison Premiere

Maison Premiere is described as "an Oyster House and Cocktail Den reflective of the staple establishments of New York, Paris and New Orleans. Inspired by hotel lobbies of days gone by, afternoons in Paris cafes, late night dinners brooding over bivalves and wading through glasses of pastis and absinthe."

Had a few friends in town so we went for brunch in Williamsburg, and it was absolutely delightful. From the first step through the front door, you feel the magical vibes of the restaurant. Their backyard garden is so beautifully quaint, you must ask for a seat there when the weather is nice. They are most known for their oysters, which they have from 30 different varieties based on market availability. Their Happy Hours are really wonderful, where oysters are just $1. They had Happy Hour going on during brunch, so we got a tasting of a few. Everything we ordered was pretty darn amazing—we shared the Cod Brandade, Baked Eggs, and Brioche French Toast.  Also don't forget to order the Maison Absinthe Colada, which is their most popular drink—their darn good take on the Pina Colada.
