Labor Day was undeniably hot and humid. We stopped by Nespresso in SoHo to pick up a few espresso capsules for our machine (we have the Lattissima Plus, which we love). They have a new Limited Edition capsule out called Cubania, which was "inspired by the passion and warmth of the Cuban way of life." It's deliciously bold and powerful with complex notes...so good.

For dinner, I had a belated birthday celebration with some of my bests at Clinton Street Baking Co in the LES. Wanted to avoid the 2+ hour wait for brunch so instead made a reservation for dinner (they take RSVP for parties 6+) and everyone had some really yum dishes including pancakes, buttermilk fried chicken, biscuits, and fish tacos. Anyways, breakfast for dinner? Yes please.
