Dessert for Breakfast

A stream of rainy days continue in New York and this past weekend was no different. Chikalicious is one of my favorite dessert places in the city and frequently visit their two posts facing one another (one is a dessert bar with a pre-fixe menu and wine pairing, and the other is a casual sit-down/take-out shop) in the East Village. They recently opened another location in the West Village though called The Dessert Club that combines the best of both worlds. Two girlfriends and I visited the night before for their more elaborate dessert plate items, but loved it so much I had to take the hubs! So we decided to stop by for some tea and coffee the next morning, trying out a few items on their breakfast-all-day menu and desserts (always need a Dough'ssant!) as well. It was all really delicious—really couldn't get enough of their mini pancakes which are absolutely adorable. Cannot wait to return!
